For some folks setting up the Google Chromecast would be very easy. This article is not for you.
For many others, the Chromecast is their first foray into the world of smart television.
I created a video with step by step instructions and I would like to share it with you. It provides you every step from unboxing all the way to casting for the very first time.

Remember! if it is not working , simply switch the USB to another USB port on your laptop (must have enough power) and best to plug chromecast in to a legit ac adapter usb brick, one with enough power...mine was setup and i am very computer literate and i still had to google this common problem when two of my USB ports wouldnt work but the third usb 3.0 port DID power my chromecast just fine....
these little things arfe very important and turn any TV into a smart TV that anyone can control from any smartphone tablet or desktop/laptop! (smartwatch too i believe now)
Anyway, I would love to make apps for chromecast, i can just see all sorts of cool apps that allow you to display Trading Apps for finance for example, on your hdtv via updating live chromecast backgrounds with your own stock or crypto price tickers, etc or visualized seti or folding @ home or maybe even a visualizatoon of blockchain etc!
I sincerely love the background images google chromcast uses of nature and art and its EXACTLY what I would do if I was in charge of chromecast!
I just already have seen and used easy apps that conectto chromecast made by thrid party developers so i KNOW its possible to not just hack it but easily mod it using googles own open source software to basically create cool widgets and upgrades for the chromecast so ucan get bitcoin or altcoin price and graphs on the bakcground instead of just art and nature photos which are coola nd all ut i wanna get some cool data on my screen as my chromecast background!
