Christmas stroll in Shanghai

So there it is, finally, my first Steemit blog post. I am not a natural blogger but thought let's give it a go. There is obviously crypto currency that brings us all together on this platform and I am curious as to what a lot of like-minded people can offer each other and what we can discuss or do together in this community.

A first quick intro so you know who you are dealing with. I live in Shanghai with my lovely daughter and loving husband. We are a tight family and I will not show you pictures of myself trying to turn my face into a brand. I will also not make this a 'look at my my cute daughter blog' or a travel blog dragging you with me around the planet. I rather share the things that inspire and interest me, whatever and wherever they might be, so expect less focus or consistency but a surprise every now and then. It's not going to be lengthy sophisticated essays with descriptions and links either but mostly pictures. The saying "a picture says more than a thousand words" holds true for me since I am a graphic designer, visually orientated, always with my phone exploring and capturing beautiful moments, things and details and those are the impressions I will share.

So what to pick for a first entry, obviously something Christmas related since it is upon us. Also I can add a 'Merry Christmas to you' here and while we live in a visually overwhelming world with constant noise, commercials and endless shopping temptations surrounding us which leaves little in the way of peaceful Christmas spirit I tried evading most of the kitsch and spotted a few interesting enough shop windows.

This is not the most exciting or creative I can provide so please see this only as a quick intro, a seasons greetings and a kick-off for more and better to come ; )
