Christmas Is Back? 🌲
I went to visit my cousin over the weekend and, goodness me, their neighbourhood is looking very festive. Windows, residential and commercial alike, are covered with all manner of glistering, glistening, flashing and shimmering stuff. The commercial windows especially appear to be in competition with each other with elaborate window paintings of Christmas related scenes featuring Santa, elves, mistletoe, snow, snowmen, Christmas trees and, shockingly, nativity scenes 😱
By far my favourite things I saw were the little hand-made woven artwork left everywhere around the town - on post boxes, old telephone boxes, and random lampposts. Very cool. Actual Christmas appears to be back this time. I think people really need it this year 🌲
It's not looking like it, but I'm actually hoping for snow this year, rather an a mild rainy day like we've had in the past few years, on Christmas Eve/Day. There's something about snow that makes Christmas just that little bit more special. ☃️

lol - the village here is decked out for every season and festival.
