The pastor preaches the kingdom of God
The congregation listens
Whole heartedly in fear
Everyone listens as if the kingdom is now
Day by day after the preaching
The fear still lies there
The life of holiness is inevitable
But after a time
The fear vanishes
Gradually the sin sets in
The holiness is now unrighteousness
Where?! ,
Where is the preaching of the kingdom that instils fear?
Has it gone to heaven like weather?
Or where is it...
Does that mean the preaching brought only fear?
And not seriousness in Christ
Does that mean the message is not with power?
But the cares and worries of life like thorns
Has strangled the teaching of the kingdom unto death
But the steadfast shall be strong and the teaching will stay strong in him
Add unto your Christianity seriousness
So that the kingdom of God will not meet you by Surprise

If there is fear involved in the teaching about the Kingdom of God, i would have a critical look at it, because real faith will never be the result of fear, isn't the gospel a 'good message' and a message of love instead of fear?
