What is GOOD FRIDAY / HOLY FRIDAY??

in #christianity7 years ago

GOOD FRIDAY or HOLY FRIDAY commemorates Jesus's death on cross, and is celebrated as a tradition as a day when JESUS CHRIST was crucified.

The Holy Bible gives us gives us the freedom to celebrate the death of Jesus, however Romans 14:5 tells us that, "One ma considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his mind." Rather than celebrating the death day, the Holy Bible instructa us to obey the LAST SUPPER, First Corinthians 11:24-26 declares that, "...do this in remembrance of me...for whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the lord's death until he comes."
It's said to be GOOD FRIDAY because Christ's death resulted very good. Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." First Peter 3:18 tells us that, "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by Spirit."

Thai should be in our minds forever because the death of Jesus Christ on the cross-along with his bodily resurrection- is the paramount event of the Christian community and Faith.
