At this juncture, people who are living in their own apartment will be confused about the above question because they are actually living in their own houses.

It is commonly said by some people that in this world where we find ourselves we are : pilgrims, sojourners etc but today, I choose to say that we are tenant here on earth.

I'm not in any way debunking the notion that we are pilgrims or sojourners here on earth but I want to make common sense with the "Tenancy" thing.

I can recall that when my dad came to Uyo, he didn't have a house of his own so he worked tirelessly to see to it that he acquires his own house all because he was a tenant.

I'm happy today that we are living in our own house. I know that majority of you reading this post are no more tenants but house owners. Congrats!

I just have this feeling that no body on earth wants to be a tenant but everyone wants to be a house owner especially one who knows the turmoils and ordeals inherent in living in someone's house (tenant). One can never appreciate the joy of living in his own house if the person have not lived as a tenant before.

The climax of this post is to remind you that everyone living here on earth is a "Tenant". In our secular world, no body if I'm not mistaken enjoys being a tenant that is why we all strive to secure our own houses here on earth.

As Christians, we should not enjoy our being "Tenants" here on earth but we should strive biblically to see to it that we secure a place in heaven so that we will no longer be known as "Tenants" but heaven's citizen.
