Is your food 'showing'?

Growing up, I had an aunt who used to tease me that the food i was eating wasnt reflecting on my body structure or growth. She used to say that my ribs were showing and that anyone who sees me will think that i was starving. Ha... i use to cry my eyes out and most time i will stand in front of a mirror to see the ribs or raise my shirt with tears looking at my ribs and feeling uncomfortable about my body because of what she said. That season wasnt a funny one...but looking back, i have learnt so much from it.

Since it is in human nature to always eat and grow, the Lord ask that we partake in his body ‘often’ in remembrance of Him (1 Corinthians 11:23-25).

David in line with the WORD said ‘daily will I seek them’ the more we eat of the WORD – body and blood- the more we become like the WORD.

What you do constantly have a way of showing in your appearance and life. People who take their meals from the devil as easily identified, and so it is with those who eat the meal from God. We must not take for granted the WORD – body and blood – because one will be held liable for it (1 Corinthians 11: 27).

We must by mercy, through grace partake of the body and blood of Jesus Christ and without ceasing, read, meditate on the WORD and pray.

Every man has been designed to be sustained by the meal he eats – eat healthy.

Lol...word inspring really. But immediately i read the beginning of your story, I knew you are a Nigerian because we have had such insults when you are slim while growing up and when sure how you countered that reputation about you with a bible is really x10 of what you actually did to yourself,so beneficial in body and soul. And i really admire your write up and point of view while growing..thanks for sharing. 👏👏👏

Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate your response

Yes! This talked about my recent post ''food is right food is essential'' no matter how right and essential it is it needs a very good caution so that you don't commit sin for eating irresponsibly .

Nice post @outhori5ed

Thank you very much. Greatly appreciate your response

very good post :)

Thank you very much. I appreciate

Great analogy! I do not think I have ever heard this one used in church before. I hope you have gotten over your body dysphoria.

Pray without ceasing. Good word sir!
