This much I know, when I believed "hell" is not my main focus but the Love of God and Jesus dying for my sins and shame. I am so grateful and at the same so convicted of my sins that draw me to Jesus. Emphasising on "hell" to frightened people to believe defeat that purpose as there is no change of heart but just giving them a pass from going to hell. It is like a thief will behave well in front of a policeman because he does not want to go to jail but there are no change of heart as to his thiefing nature. Escaping from going to hell as their motive is not true tepentance . You can fooled the preacher but you cannot fool God!
