The Key to the Real Truth about Christianity

Matthew 1:1 is the key verse of the to knowing the real Truth about whole New Testament, believe it or not. This verse is the cornerstone to understating the Real Truth about Christianity. Just think about it.

Now it seems to be a really simple verse that almost says nothing, but what I said is that it is the “key”. It is the key verse that unlocks the door. You might say, “I don’t get it, explain that to me.” Here’s the verse:

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David.

It doesn’t sound like anything more than just a simple title, does it. Let’s break it down. “The book of the genealogy...”. This is the book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ – Matthew. There is another genealogy in Luke, but it does not claim to be the genealogy of Jesus Christ, what’s more this genealogy is the royal lineage that has all the kings. “the son of David”, means the direct flesh and blood descenant of King David – to qualify him as the Messiah prophisied in the Old Testament.

This is the genealogy that contains Solomon the son of David. The genealogy in Luke traces through Nathan the son of David. Contrary to what many believe the lineage in Luke is not Mary’s not can it qualify Jesus to be the Messiah.

Actually, the genealogy in Matthew is the one in which Joseph the biological son of Jacob appears. However, the genealogy in Luke clearly says that Joseph is the son of Heli. It can’t be both now, can it. To complicate matters, in the KJV bible it says that the genealogy in Luke is of Mary. How can it be of Mary if it clearly says that Joseph was the son of Heli?

And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli (Luke 3:23)

This discrepancy is explained away by some saying that the genealogy is actually of Mary and the verse should be understood to mean “son-in-law of Heli”. That would be true if Mary were the daughter of Heli, however this is not the case since according to historical record Heli died childless. As Eusebius (c. AD 263), the Father of Church History, explains:

Eli and Jacob were thus uterine brothers. Eli having died childless, Jacob raised up seed to him, begetting Joseph, his own son by nature, but by law the son of Eli. Thus Joseph was the son of both.” (Eusebius of Caesarea, Historia Ecclesiae, 1:7:11, 1:7:13-14)

So Joseph was actually the biological son of Heli’s (Eli’s) wife by Jacob. As said before, Mary was not the daughter of Eli. In fact, Mary was of the tribe of Levi, not Judah. The bible clearly tells us that Elizabeth, the cousin of Mary was of the tribe of Levi, her husband was of the tribe of Levi, being a priest. According to church history:

Mary herself was not of the tribe of Judah but of the tribe of Levi, her father being a priest of the name of Joachim.(http://www.orthodox.cn/patristics/apostolicfathers/mary.htm, The Gospel of the Birth of Mary 1:2)

Her father was a priest of the tribe of Levi. And priests always married a woman of the tribe of Levi. Mary’s mother was the sister of Elizabeth, a Levite. More evidence yet is that “James the brother of Jesus” (quote by Josephus), son of Mary was a high priest in Jerusalem, which makes him of the tribe of Levi. John the cousin of Jesus was obviously a priest, another Levite.

So it’s quite obvious from all the evidence from scripture and historical record that the genealogy in Luke could not possibly be of Mary.

So what does all of this prove? And how is all of this the key to the Real Truth of Christianity?

Here is the moral of the story. According to Messianic prophecies, the Messiah has to be a flesh and blood descendant of King David AND King Solomon to qualify as The Messiah. As we have already proven the only way this can be true is if Joseph were Jesus’s flesh and blood biological father. The problem with this is that both the gospels Matthew and Luke say that Mary was a Virgin! If Joseph was Jesus’s biological father then Mary wasn’t actually a virgin when she conceived Jesus!

The reason Mary had to be a virgin was to prove that Jesus was God Almighty born in the flesh, impregnated by the “Holy Ghost”. The reason the author of Matthew went to extremes with the genealogy was to prove that Jesus was the Messiah. It could only be one or the other – not both. It is obvious that the virgin birth story was a forgery! This makes both gospels subject to doubt as to their authenticity. If this story was false, how much of the rest of those gospels is false also? And we have no original manuscripts to check what they actually said.

So Jesus could not possibly have been God – according to the bible!

The writers and/or redactors of the gospels made extreme efforts to prove that Jesus was the Messiah and ALSO that he would return in that century. You may not think so, but if you read what it literally and clearly says and not what the bible scholars would have you think, you’ll see that it’s really true! There are many good examples, but the following is one of the best ones:

“For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom”

For those of you who don’t know, there were many things that the Messiah was supposed to bring about when he came, so when those things were not done, it was explained that those things in Messianic prophesy would take place at Jesus’s “Second Coming” or at his return. As said before, his return was supposed to be during the first century. He didn’t come, not in the first century, the second century, the third century or even the twentieth century. Sorry to tell some of you believers, he’s not coming back at all – ever!

According to the Jewish bible, if a prophet’s predictions did not come to pass he should not be listened to, and the things that he says are not of God.

So Jesus was not only not God, but neither was he the Messiah since he would be a true prophet of God and his prophecies would come to pass if he were.

Now the reason that I said in the very beginning of this article that the first verse of Matthew was the “key” to the Real Truth is because what it leads to is that Jesus is not God. Since Jesus is not God, all of Christianity is build on the foundation of a LIE. Since there are forgeries in the gospels such as the story of the virgin birth, they are LIES also – not the “Word of God”. Though Jesus was a direct descendant of King David, his prophecies (if they even were his) are false, therefore Jesus is not the Messiah nor is he a true prophet. And we don’t even have the original manuscripts to know what he really did say. What the key Matthew 1:1 unlocks the door to is the FACT that Christianity is a false religion.
