TEXT: "Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence : and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; " Matt.12 : 14 - 15.
There is a time to escape if you must preserve your life. It is not fear; it is wisdom.
There is an incubating time until the time of your showing forth. Hide yourself.
It is the word of the LORD that came to Elijah that he should hide himself by the brook Cherith. That was were the preservation of God for him was at that period. To stay away from there is to open himself to danger.
When God hides you, you are secured. Stop analyzing His instructions, just obey it. The Bible says, " For in time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me...." Psa. 27 :5-6.
When you cooperate with God, evil will not find you. Your walk with God is what guarantees your unstoppable preservation. God will not leave your safety in the hands of others.
If you carry something, two classes of people will be looking for you- Helpers and Herod. Herod sought for Jesus to kill him even as little child in other to terminate his destiny which he considered as a threat to him.
The wise men, after they ministered to Jesus, departed unto their own country another way being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod. Matt.2.
God is always ahead of the devil also gave an instruction to Joseph to take the little child and his mother and flee to Egypt for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him, and he did so.
You will not be a victim of any attack.
PRAYER.
My Father, my God, as I pray now, hide and preserve all of us in the steem community.
Good morning.
Do have a great week!
This isn't true. Jesus doesn't promise to protect us. On the contrary, he said this:
In Luke 14:27
And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
Yeah, that's true
