- Below: The righteous and what the Lord knows of them, and the way of the ungodly.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
- The LORD knows the way of the righteous.
A loving God who is in heaven knows the ways of the righteous, He will preserve and protect them. Because of this the righteous can have peace. The Lord is forever and constantly looking on the way of the righteous, the Lord is knowing of their ways. Even though the righteous way may be in darkness or in mist, the Lord knows it all.
- The way of the ungodly shall perish.
What easier way that leads to destruction that the way of the ungodly. The path or road that they are on now may be broad, the gates they will enter will be wide, but in the end they shall perish. The broad path will have lots of company, it'll seem comfortable, but be not deceived, the end result is that they will perish. This you can be sure of.
Christianity is called The Way in the Book of Acts at least four times. Reader, it is the way of the righteous. It is NOT the way of the ungodly.
