To glorify God is our overriding purpose in life. We glorified God when we worship, value, praise, honor, enjoy, thank or even emulate him. These are examples in which God can be glorified. We are mirrors that reflect the goodnessnwe have received from him.
We need first to realize that glorifying him is not something we initiate. This is how to understand God is glorified. We don't need to send our lights to reveal the goodness of God.
First, God is glorified in our spirit as we find fulfillment and greater joy in Him. Second, as a result of something we do for them that reflects God's goodness and love that's others may give him glory. Third, we glorified Him in his own being through our worship as we declare how much we treasure Him. These are the three distinct ways to must understand thatnwe can bring God glory.
Apostle Paul speaks of christians as being "the aroma of Christ to God" (2 Cor. 2:15). We remind God of the sacrifice of his beloved son, Jesus, who allowed us to come to God in some ways but itbis difficult to understand fully.
