Hello beautiful people. Its been a while. Hope you're all doing great. I just wanna share how my evening went with you and I hope you learn on or two things from this. Thanks in advance for reading.
Today is Tuesday and it was supposed to be bible study holding today, but it was announced on Sunday that this week is going to be "Help Week". It was my first time hearing that, because I haven't been home in a while. I didn't understand the concept but I waited till this evening.
So I got to church this evening and after the opening prayer, we were told we we were to go to hospitals to visit the sick ones there. Wow, I've been going to hospitals to visit sick people, but not as a church and in groups. I wanted to know how it feels to do that.
We gathered ourselves and we divided into 3 groups to 3 different hospitals. I was part of the first group and we visited "Our lady's hospital", A Catholic based hospital.
I'm sorry I couldn't get original photos. It was an hospital and not an event center, so I couldn't even bring out my phone to snap because of the cold mood and all. I hope you understand
We entered each ward and met different sets of people. We met a very old man, a pregnant woman, a young lady and many others, all on the sick bed. It wasn't a good sight at all. People are really suffering from various kinds of sickness, trust me.
We shared the word of God to them and made them realize that Jesus is the only true way and they should trust Him for perfect healing. We prayed with them and also shared few items with each one of them, including: Milk, Milo, Bournvita, Bathing soap and Washing soap. They were really very happy and grateful.
I was moved to tears when we got to one of the wards and met one woman there. She wasn't sick, she was staying with one of the old men there. All of a sudden, after praying for the old man, she knelt down and asked us to please pray for her. She wasn't a Christian so you understand why I said I was moved. She truly believed in the name Jesus as her help.
We also visited the doctors and matrons. Preached, prayed for them and also gave them one or two things among the items we brought.
All glory to God for the success of the "visitation". It was an amazing experience, I must say. So my people, I'll like to let you know that Jesus saves, heals, delivers from every form of infirmities. We also need to note that there are lots of people in hospitals that need our help as children of God. If you can't visit them physically, please remember the hospital patients in your prayers. You can also send your money there. All of these little acts of love brings blessings from God. May you be blessed as you add this to your endeavors. Love you all.
Thanks for reading...
