Listen to your Inner man

A lot of times, the difference between making a decision and making a Great decision is when we learn to listen to our Inner man. This could save us from a lot of embarrassing moments.
I had a crazy experience today that has taught me another lesson, and I'm gonna share it with you.
I was going from one point within the city to another and there were two different routes I could navigate. I declined from taking one route because the road is under construction and it's been really dusty. I wanted to avoid the situation of cleaning my trouser and footwear everytime. So, I chose the seemingly less dusty and faster route. Before I left where I was, my spirit softly wispered to me that what if there's traffic congestion, but I waved the thought off and I embarked on the journey. About 15minutes after I left, I got stuck in the traffic for more than 20minutes. In order to beat the traffic, the driver drove on the side of the road and then I got more than enough of the dust I tried to avoid by passing this route. As if that wasn't enough, the cab I boarded started leaking it's fuel. So, we had to park and wait for the driver to fix it. The whole situation cost me more than 1hour 15minutes.
Then I thought to myself.

If only I had listened, I would have been where I was going by then.

That was a huge lesson for me.

Just like Isaiah 30:21 says

Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, "This is the way you should go," whether to the right or to the left.

When you hear that voice, listen. God can never be wrong about the situation of your life.
He knows the best "route" your life can take because He alone knows the end from the beginning. His plans are also bigger and better than yours.

Very true. Instruction is life. If only we'd listen more and obey.

Yes. If we do, it will help real good.
