I love your post @abeludotu and will definitely have it resteemed on my blog. I never actually grew up wanting to change my name, i loved my name from the beginning of time and thanked my parents for it. But i completely agree with your observation about the weirdness associated with some contemporary names in our locality.

Nevertheless, as you rightly said, "Don't be anxious to change your name. Instead, seek to give your name a better definition!"
