With the birth of Christ Jesus, His teachings, His death and His resurrection, something incredible happened. Something so unfathomable that many still wrestle with it today! God sent "His only Son into this world so that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life!" Not only would we be led and taught by Him, but He would be Head over the entire body where fellowshipping in Him would bless each and every member. When He died on the cross and rose again, the curtain to the Holy of Holies was torn in-two, making it possible that we could boldly go before the throne of grace, even into the Holy of Holies, in Christ, who is always making intercession for us.
"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;"
Matthew 27:51
"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"
Hebrews 10:19-24
Christ the Head of the church and members of the body Fellowship in His word
Where God's word is spoken there is water because the words that He speaks, they are spirit and they are life. Jesus has been speaking since the very beginning. In Psalms, David asked, "How can a young man cleanse his ways? By taking heed to the word of God." The Apostle Paul gave an analogy about cleansing our ways through the Word when he spoke about marriage.
"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word," Ephesians 5:26 Because the scriptures often compare our relationship with and Christ with a bridegroom.
When His word is removed or changed where His people gather, the cistern is cracked and can hold no water.
"For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."
Jer 2:13
"Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word."
Psalms 119:9
"There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?"
John 3:1-10
"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 4:14
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)"
John 7:37-39
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
John 14:26

wow, how great is this life that spring from this water. Another verse I read about a week ago Revelations 22:1 "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb."
Thank you for sharing!
Amen. Jesus is the word of life, without Him there's no life
