The flood is Receded

GENESIS 8:1

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and He sent a wind over the earth, and the water receded.

In order for God to put an end to violence and corrupt earth and the people, He decided to destroy both the people and the earth with flood.

Among those living at that time was Noah, a righteous and blameless man that walked with God. For a hundred and fifty days, waters flooded the earth. For a hundred and fifty days, Noah movements and living were restricted to the ark. Despite been exempted from the destruction as a result of his righteousness, Noah still had an indirect consequence for the sins of others. For a hundred and fifty days, Noah knew no seedtime, no harvest, no day and no night. For a hundred and fifty days, Noah, together with the others and the animals that were exempted was locked up in the ark until God remembered him.

Just like in the days of Noah, many are suffering the consequences of sins and sacrilege committed by others. I may not know the price that you are paying; either directly or indirectly, for the evils committed by another. I may not know the flood of life that has overwhelmed and submerged you as an indirect consequence for the misdeeds of others. But I know the God that remembers His people in times of trouble. I know the God that neither forsake nor forget His called out ones.

Today, may the God that remembered Noah, in His mercy remember you. May every water of destruction that has flooded your life recede and give way for dry land for your feet to stand and for your glory to shine in Jesus' name ... (AMEN!)

The 'Hope Beckons' series started last year as a way to motivate as many as possible through the Holy Scripture(Bible) with prayers to accompany each series. Hope Beckons series aim at giving hope to everyone out there. It is the needed capsule to inspire us to greatness by standing on the promises of God.

This year, I intend to make the 'Hope Beckons' series more inspiring and cheerful by introducing: 'Hope Beckons- Share&Care. Hope Beckons- Share&Care will only feature every mid-week(Wednesday) as an act of kindness to my followers on the Hope Beckons series.

The modalities to participate for the 'Hope Beckons- Share&Care' are under way and would be communicated to us in due time.
