You may say that Jesus had a sixth sense, but it is more true to say that Jesus was both God and man and therefore belonged to both the spiritual and the physical world.
Did Jesus have the sixth sense? Can we connect with the dead?
You may say that Jesus had a sixth sense, but it is more true to say that Jesus was both God and man and therefore belonged to both the spiritual and the physical world. However, the spiritual world does not consist of ghosts and "dead people", but by demons (Devil's evil handmen, Ephesians 6, v.12) and angels of God (God's messengers, Luke 2, v. 13). This is a completely different reality than what we see portrayed in the movie "The Sixth Mind".
The Bible also speaks of a death row where the soul of all the dead waits for God's final judgment, but first, the body is in the grave, and secondly, the world is completely separate from and without our contact. (Luke 16, v. 19-31). Our destiny in the death row depends on our relationship with Jesus in this life! Those who believe in Jesus will experience the death row as a paradise (Luke 23, v.43), those who denied Jesus will experience the death row as a pinpoint (Luke 16, v.23)
We are therefore given no sixth sense. There have always been those who claimed to be in touch with the dead, but they are victims of a devilish deception and the Bible warns against them (Leviticus 19, v.31). On the other hand, by faith in Jesus Christ, we share in the holy spirit of God who guides and protects those who live in faith and trust in Jesus, both now and in the kingdom of death. This is our right and safe contact with the spiritual world. There is no room for fear and fear of demons or restless spirits, but for rest and hope for an everlasting future. In faith in Jesus we can safely meet the dead.

Wow!!
Am so excited to see something like this on this platform. really enlightening and refreshing.
Thank you!
Those who believe in Jesus will experience the death row as a paradise (Luke 23, v.43), those who denied Jesus will experience the death row as a pinpoint (Luke 16, v.23). This is so true. He who dies in Christ is saved.

Amen to this. May you continue to share more of the Word of God. ☺
Jesus is also God as well because in the beginning was the word and that Word was Jesus Christ. Jesus is Sense itself. Selah.
Wow. I've been so blessed by this message. Thank you very much. The Spirit of God is one with our Spirit. He's actually the one who reveals the deep things of God to us. We can find everything we want in Him. Indeed, there's no need of following after other spirits to be led astray but rather being led by the Spirit of God.
Yes. Jesus is true God and true man. His divinity surpasses all understanding and experience. His humanity shows us that it is God's will for man to live and to experience his divinity through the Holy Spirit. In the Gospel of St. John, chapter 3, the debate begins regarding a life in the Spirit.

Greetings from Venezuela
Enjoyed the read my friend. I was raised in a family that goes to church and my wife was raised very religious. I very much have a scientific mind and outlook to things, so I question them. I have become interested in astronomy as of late and the ins and outs of how this universe works is utterly amazing. Such as, just our Galaxy would take about 150,000 years to cross going the speed of light...which is like 150000 m/s. That’s just one galaxy. The trillions upon trillions of stars helps back my belief in a higher power. I just find it hard and unimaginable that this universe we know so little about, just magically came about from nothing. Something that literally appear when hydrogen atoms became to hot and initiated the beginning stages of the first star. I believe God, certainly a higher power not only because of just searching out my questions about faith, but because I truely believe we all have a soul. No higher power, no soul. Anyway mate, sorry for the long reply,
