China's attitude towards terrorism has been a major threat and problem to the whole world including India. That's because China, where Masood Azhar, who is sitting in Pakistan, does not consider Azhar as a terrorist, while Uyghur Muslim himself is seen terrorizing him. This is very important because it has recently been claimed by China that it has arrested about 13 thousand terrorists in the violence-hit Xinjiang Province since the year 2014. During this time, hundreds of terrorist organizations operating in the province were eliminated. China made this claim at such a time that there is a lot of criticism in the international community about the atrocities on Uyghur Muslims in this province.
Uyghar is the majority in Xinjiang
China, which is talking about the Xinjiang province, is actually Uighur Muslim majority and China has declared this province autonomous. The boundary of this province matches with eight countries including Mongolia and Russia. The population of Uyghur Muslims of Turkic origin is more than one crore in this area. Their population is the majority in this area. To reduce the majority of the population here, the Chinese government started settling the people of the han community here. The government of China has kept the views of the Han community on high posts here. The result has now started to appear. It tells China's policy through which it is stopping Islamic radicalism here. Under this, many types of restrictions have been imposed on Uyghar Muslims. More than one million Uighurs have been kept in detention centers. China calls these detention centers as a vocational education center.
Masjid broken
In this region, China has curbed the religious freedom of Uyghar Muslims. In 2018, the government of China had demolished a mosque there. Similar action was taken in 2014 too. It was argued that there is no religion greater than the law. Earlier in 2014, the government of Shinjian banned Muslim workers for the month of Ramzan and increasing the beard of Muslim citizens. Even China has to say that religious activities should be under the law of the country. In 2018, officials also came to the spot to drop the Weizhou Jama Masjid located in Wuxang city of Ningxia, China's autonomous region. But due to overwhelming performance it has been postponed.
White letter of china
It will be said to be a junky joke with the global community that China on Monday termed the policy adopted towards Uyghur Muslims as a white letter through a white paper. In this, China has made it clear that there is a need to take even more stricter steps to deal with the threats of Uighur Muslim-dominated Xinjiang. According to the white paper, 1,588 militant gangs were abolished during the anti-terrorism action in Xinjiang since 2014.
Punished about 30 thousand people
According to China, 12,995 terrorists were arrested and 2,052 bombs were recovered. Apart from this, 30,645 people found guilty of illegal religious activities were punished. It has also been reported in the white paper that 30 attacks have been stopped since the year 1990 and the last assault took place in December 2016. 458 people were killed and 2,540 were injured in the attacks in the province and in other major incidents.
UN report also worrisome
The only thing here is not worrying, but the surprising facts came out in August last year in which the United Nations released its report in this regard. It has been said in this report that millions of Uyghur Muslims have been imprisoned in camps in the name of monitoring them from China. According to the report, China is engaged in changing the ideology of two million Uighurs Muslims. The UN report expressed deep concern over this. Let us know that there are about 20 million Muslim populations in China, including the Uighur and the Hui Community. Compared to Uighurs, Muslims are considered peaceful.
Xinjiang was never East Turkistan
Today's Xinjiang East is East Turkistan. In 1949, it was recognized as a separate nation. But this year it became a part of China. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1990, people in this area also made great efforts to liberate themselves. At that time, this movement was supported by many Muslim countries in Central Asia. It has always been said by China that Uyghar Muslims living in this province are running 'East Turkistan Islamic Movement' under the demand to separate from China. America called the 'East Turkistan Islamic Movement' as a separatist group of Uighurs. But he also believes that this organization can not carry out terrorist incidents.
Uyghar is the biggest leader of Muslims
The big leaders of Uyghar Muslims are Dalkan Isa, who lives in Germany. He is also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Uygur Congress (WUC) in Munich. He is in China's most wanted list since 2014. Apart from this, Interpol has also issued a red corner notice against them. They are accused of spreading violence in Xinjiang Province.
