Chilli peppers come from tropical regions of America where it started its journey around the world. It came to Europe thank to Cristopher Columbus who, while arriving to America during his journey in 1492, brought many types of plants, fruit and the chili pepper among them.

As a fan of hot cuisine I love chili in every form, but fresh is always best! I add chili to meals mainly to intensify the taste but I also like to sometime season a sandwich or a hot chocolate with it. I am aware of the fact that not everyone is a fan of hot meals or chili exactly but I think that it’s worth taking into consideration its exceptional health-improving qualities.

Chili pepper includes substances that are helping our immunity against cancer, improve our digestive system and deliver many vitamins to our body. As for such small vegetable it has outstanding capability to warm us up and that’s what make It perfect for this kind of weather that our body faces during winter. Chili is a great source of vitamin C (144mg – almost 192% of a suggested daily dose), thanks to that it improves our immunity system.
