WHAT WILL THIS NEXT GENERATION BE?

Life has gone on for thousands of years with parents raising children, and the children mentoring their children to be parents. So many values, characteristics and ideologies are learned from our parents and grandparents. For example, a farmer raises crops and he saves the seeds to produce next years crops. This continuity allows for predictability. We look at the parent plant and get a very good picture of what the next generation of plants will look like.

It has also been this way for the human family. Over the past 6,000 years, not much has really changed from one generation to another. Parents teach their children and the cycle continues generation after generation.

Back in the 70's and 80's it became much more popular for mother's to send their children to day care centers while they worked. The children learned similar things that they would have if their own mother's would have been there to teach them, but the missing link was the bonding that occurs between mother and child. The child now has the information, but without the nurturing and love that would have come along side with mom.

So now we are in the next generation. But now, the children are not even being taught by another human being, but by a machine that is void of human emotion and love; there is absolutely no bonding taking place.

I am seeing children (young people) that seem to be void of all emotion. They have never bonded with a human being. They are desperately fighting to make the connection with that person of the opposite sex, but because they have never bonded with a human being they are missing the receptors that allow oxytocin to come in and form those bonds.

Unless 'mothers' & 'fathers' wake up and are proactive to give their children the chance that they had, to love, to feel emotion and learn compassion; we might see a generation of zombies inhabiting the earth.
