On Thursday morning I went into the UW surgery pavilion with a fertile, ordinary baby box. A few hours later, I rolled out in a wheelchair, high out of my mind and missing my fallopian tubes. A bilateral salpingectome. I've waited five fucking years to be sterilised, and I finally got it. I finally got that piece of mind that I will never have to be pregnant. And my insurance paid for it. I'm 23 and I will never have children. SUCCESS. Also oxys make me really stupid but hey I guess that's a small price to pay for never having to deal with a pregnancy. I'm officially a free woman. My tummy is still really bloated from all the air they had to put in there to see everything, but it should go down in a couple more days. The surgeon also removed a cyst from one of my ovaries, which was awful nice of him. I have photos of that one. Super interesting, actually. You can see my intestines n shit. Anyway, I'm pretty goddamn happy. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'd be happy to help!
