First thing I noticed was the people of Chicago are very nice. They say HI and HELLO for no reason at all. It's very hot and humid in the summer but I still loved it. I have come up with a list of Things To Do while visiting.
DEEP DISH PIZZA! Ask the locals where the BEST pizza is and decide for yourself. I chose Giordono's...What I learned is you order your pizza before you even get your table as it takes 45 minutes to an hour for a deep dish. I can't wait to try more pizza spots. The small pizza was very filling and the BEST I've ever had so far in my life.
DO the Architecture tour on the pier. Absolutely worth is as Chicago has some AMAZING bulding. 6:00 is the best time to do it as it's beautiful!
SAY YES to a Cub's game even if you aren't a baseball fun. It was a great time and seeing the Chicago spirit when it comes to their team is just amazing to watch. Be careful of the scalpers...although I purchased tickets from a scalper then sold to another scalper and ended up with free tickets and made some beer money. I did hear they make fake tickets sometimes so be careful.
DRESS UP and go to London House. The views were AMAZING! The drinks were good! Lines were long and they close early! Thank god we went to the front and asked how to get in NOW. :)
Getting around....I prefer Lyft over Uber. If you are new to lift you will get 50% off your first 10 rides. Saves you a lot!
Get the Go Chicago Pass or the Go City Pass...Personally I believe the Go City pass is better as you don't have to wait in those super long lines!
Chicago 360 I loved! It's a must and your Go City card covers most of these activities!
I had 3 days in Chicago..I am already making my list for my next trip. If you have any MUST DO's please comment below. I can't wait to update this list on my next trip!
