Do you want to start getting tons of upvotes? Do you want to get lots of comments? What about making it on the "Hot" and "Trending" Feeds? 🤔
Before I get started, be sure to follow me@stackin. How can I even "upvote" your posts if you're not even following me? 🤣
With that out of the way, let's get started lol
We all know that one of the most important things on Social Media is to get "Followers" if you want to have a successful profile, especially on Steemit.
So what does one need to do to accomplish this? I'm going to tell you right now, you must put in the time and effort everyday if you ever want to see big results.
Here are (3) Three Quick Steps For Getting Followers.
1. Start Networking With Influencers: "Such as myself 😬"
One of the most effective ways to gain a big Steemit following is by connecting with influencers. Pick 5-10 influencers you see on Steemit and start engaging with their content.
Start commenting and start engage in their blogs. By doing this you will put yourself in front of the influencer and their followers... it's simple as that.
2. Be Very Consistent:
Post at least once a day on Steemit. Your followers need to be able to count on you for their daily dose of inspiration and motivation. When your followers start seeing you everyday, they will start liking you more (sometimes lol) :)
However, Don't posts more than once or twice a day... EVER! You may think it's better to posts more content but not necessarily.
You see, everyone has a certain amounts of "Voting Power" each day on Steemit. "Dolphins" like myself and "Whales" use our votes wisely.
When we see people start posting shit 💩 like 3-10+ times a day, we will stop voting for you and likely mute you so that we don't have see your garage.
3. Use Other Social Media Platforms:
Since I started Steemit, I used my other Social Media platforms to promote my posts so that I can get my old followers and new followers to visit me on Steemit.
After I posts my blog, I will share this posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Discord, Snapchat and a few of my friends through chat to look at my blog (in others words, I tell there ass they better upvote me haha jk).
BONUS:
This step is probably the most important... Once you get followers, the hardest thing to do is keeping them. You need to start brining that entertainment, value, knowledge, fun, inspiration etc... etc... on a daily bases or you will lose them.
If you keep posting the same ole boring shit everyday, they will stop reading your blogs and look for better people on Steemit... like myself 😅😂🤣😜
So with that being said, I hope this advice helps you guys out on how you can start getting tons of new followers on Steemit.

then I May ask, how often did you try Ayahuasca or Bufo (from Bufo Alvarius). I jumped from high platforms, had a lot of fights in the ring, and drove fast, but I live with fear. It just doesnt control me.
One should ask himself why a person should try "Ayahuasca" or "Bufo", most people need elements outside of themselves to face their inner fears while the deepest and darkest thoughts are already inside of us. Too many people lack self awareness... I blame the brain washing and conditioning what society has caused them.
If one needs to use elements such as cannabis, ayahuasca, or even dmt to face there own fears, so let it be. Meditation or a float tank can be used to master your inner thoughts however :)
float tanks and meditation is wonderful also yoga, and psychotherapy. I think in English I would be a resident psychotherapist.
But I wouldn't put ayahuasca in a row with cannabis or other drugs. Bufo and Ayahuasca is normally used with shamans to cure addiction or other diseases.
Not as a party drug.

I also think that you need to add "high-quality content" to your list.
Unfortunately, many steemians try posting every day without giving quality its deserved attention. Even worse, many don't even bother to format their post in a nice way to make it visually attractive.
It can just ok content, doesn't have to be great however. But you are right, quality content brings over quality people 😎

Nice tips as always man. I'm guilty of posting pretty often sometimes, but no more than 4 times a day. Sometimes the creativity is just flowin', you know! Other times it's just a couple times a day. I always try to keep it quality and switch up the categories. But maybe you're right and I should slow down lol.
You were spot on about keeping followers once you get them, or more importantly keeping them engaged. Only a tiny handful of my followers tend to engage with my posts. I think I could do a better job of bringing engaging content. Anyway I appreciate the pointers and keep doing your thing man, peace!

After two weeks of learning, commenting, and connecting with people here on Steem (like you), I have just started posting. Initially, I was hung up on "What do I want to post about?" "What can I say that will be profound?" I was stuck.
The more I looked around, however, it began to dawn on me: I don't need to be profound, I just need to be me. If I post about what I'm interested in, and do so in a literate and interesting way, I'll be having fun and being myself.
My goal is to post once or twice a day. I want my posts to be interesting, but I'm not going to force it. If I have nothing useful or productive, I just won't post. I think people can tell when you're just putting stuff out to put something out.
I will continue to focus on curating, however. I feel that this is where I'm adding the most value, and value is the name of the game. I'll also focus on following great content posters and folks who interest me.

I agree, consistency is 🔑 and actually commenting/replying to your own posts or others posts I think is HUGE too since this platform is still a little bit cumbersome when it comes to certain aspects.

Lol but for some reason I can never get consistent results based off those times so I'm still trying to figure out when MY FOLLOWERS are on most by trial and error.
In fact, my shortest and least thought out posts do better most of the time than my in-depth "quality" posts IMO. Which is odd...but w/e I'll figure it out eventually.

Good stuff Charles. Question...as you noticed yourself gaining more followers, what types of things did you experiment with to "keep" them? You have one of the more interesting writing styles, and you keep things short and to the point, which I like.
But did you experiment with different styles of posts? Types of media? Etc...

The best way to keep your followers is to at least post 5-7 times a week... by doing that, your followers now that your not going anywhere 😀

OK, so I am getting a little bummed today. I have tried to post quality content, a variety of topics, and I guess I posted too much but I have not posted spam. I post almost all original work, and I try to comment on interesting things I see go by...
Then I see brand new people come by and introduce themselves with reputation scores nearly as high as mine on their first post! I have been asking about it, and it seems that all you have to do is have a whale upvote one comment, and suddenly you have a great reputation?
Your #1 thing here echoes that... "Start networking with influencers." Well, newbies do not know who influencers are, and if newbies cannot help other newbies to make it to "hot" and "trending" topics, then there is little hope that any new users will become "influencers" on their merits, it will turn into a whale blowing contest...
Anyway, I appreciate your input, and the input of those who are trying to help me understand. Oddly, my lesson for today is post less, and only comment on people who are already successful and do not really need my support...
Perhaps I ought to become one of those people who ends every post with "follow me, I will follow you, upvote me and resteem me please!" but that is not my style... Maybe I will close my posts like this from now on:
"I give great whale head!"

I beleive in you, just remember this is just a social media platform just like facebook, and upvotes are just extra.

Hmm. I see that you mentioned not posting more than twice in a day, though when I joined just a few days ago, the Welcome links advised that 4 is the magic number, and not to exceed that because then you achieve post dilution (as it pertains to rewards and the like).
So that has me wondering if the two post suggestion is a personal preference of yours, or if that is a hidden/secret number that not everyone is aware of?
I would think it would be hard to keep influencers in your corner if they are suggesting a limit to your content "because reasons". LOL
I'm still new here so I have been trying to follow the suggestions forwarded to me by the Steemit site itself, but if this is contrary to what actually works then I have no issue switching gears and dropping my releases to twice a day at most.
I thought 4 seemed a little excessive.
So is it a personal preference or is it really the hidden gem that we do need to know?

You can test it out, try 4 a day then a week later try one a day, it's about testing what your followed like to see.
In my experience, when you posts tons, it turn off you new followers but it can be different for some.
I have no time to do more than 2 posts a day, I rather engage with my followers in the comments and talk to other people on their posts 😀
