Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ~ Oliver Platt
If you want to grab people's attention on Social Media, you must do it fast or they will just scroll right on by to the next person. Your picture, title and first sentence is very important when posting on social media.
The same thing goes for STEEMIT, if you wrote something really interesting and your content is awesome... it won't matter if you have an ugly photo and a boring title... That's just plain reality.
A few people asked me recently, "Charles, how do you make your pictures look good with tons of graphics and words? Well, I'm about to tell you my secret weapon lol.
It's called Canva .... I have been using it for years to create awesome graphics for Social media. The picture above was created by Canva in a few minutes.
So what is Canva? It's a website where you can create beautiful designs and professional graphics for Web or print: blog graphics, presentations, Facebook covers, flyers, posters, invitations and so on.
...and the best thing about Canva, it's 100% FREE! ... So there it is, that's my little secret.
I just wanted to post something of value today so if you have some extra time, be sure to check out Canva.com and go make some awesome pictures.
Have An Awesome Weekend STEEMIANS! 💞
Great advice. Will check it out. Love these marketing tips. Keep it coming buddy. Steemians can really benefit. thnx
I'll find some more tips in a few days :)

Yes I loooove Canva! I am going to step up my pics game! :D
I also use camera+ app but it's around $1.99... just to make it all pretty 😬📸
Thxs for sharing Canva @stackin
Gonna check it out. Every Tip helps out...
No problem @missiontothemoon! You the man :)
Thank You @stackin I'm definitely Taking Notes📝🙂 Share Gif:
Best GIF of the day 😂🤣😂
It's like his mouth is a little piano and he's playing a concerto in D minor.
lol that gif. made my day!hahaha
A little bonus value for this post... the perfect ratio for your picture to fit into the Steemit thumbnail is 3375 (width) by 2000 (height). It can be as big or small as you want, the site automatically will shrink it to fit.
I used to get so frustrated when my image wouldn't "fit" the picture frame right... now it's no problem.
I still get frustrated @heymattsokol lol ... I been messing with 800x460! Those are good tips, I might have to try out that ratio! :)
ohhh nice. ill check canva out. thanks for the tips!
No problem @lgfurmanczyk! It's a good place to make some good pics 🙌🏼😀
Thank you again Charles, I'll check it out!
I just had to bust this out today lol
Thanks for this information.
Anytime @david777111!
I totally agree with this, make your pictures standout to make it more enticing. Picking the first image/thumbnail needs careful picking. I use canva too, it is really a great app, lots of free wonderful graphics, pictures, and more.
It takes a few more minutes to do but it's worth it, thanks for coming by @vallesleoruther! :)
No problem @stackin, keep up the good work. I always read your posts and every time I learn something new or it keeps me motivated. Cheers

There are others apps out there but I find this one the easiest. I mess paint sometimes lol
I don't really know how to make a really good title.
Do you mine or good or are they just mediocre and require some work to be more eye catching?
I try to use photographs that are easy to look at to grasp some people's attention as well as using bold texts from time to time.
Thanks for the tips and suggestions @stackin
You have to try them out in the field... sometimes basic picture and short text gets tons of upvotes. I just like to switch up at times 😊
now you will see all people will write phrases in yellow on their image lol
Darn, they need to develop their own style and swag lol
I usually just use GIMP....... but I'll check it out.
I used that sometimes... GIMP is pretty good also :)
Great post ! I will have to give Canva.com a try, thanks for the informative post.

Keep on Stackin brother.

I use Canva, but it is not as easy if you are not a graphic design type of person. I have to learn every day. They do have some lessons for free on the site, too. Thanks @stackin Upvoted and resteemed.

thanks for this. so far I used canva only for my youtube thumbnails, but should start using it here
Tons of YouTube people use canva 😬
I think pictures are extremely important to a good post. I am not a fan of stock photography, and as you mentioned- personalizing your pictures gives them that extra pop!
Yeah, not so many people want to spend the extra 2-3 minutes to do it but it's worth it 🤑
this is perfect timing. i just did a search for help/guidance in improving my ability to up my game in the "how do you make your pictures look good with tons of graphics and words?" it is now time for me to put some focus into Canva. Thanks for the nudge.
