❇️ Growing up in The Ghetto and Living in a Shack... Anyone Can Change Their Situation Right Now With STEEMIT πŸ˜’πŸ˜”πŸ’”

in #charlesfuchs β€’ 7 years ago (edited)

This was my house in 1995 in Colorado Springs, Colorado... This tiny drug infested 1000 SQ shack in the ghetto neighborhood of South Gate. 🏚

A few days ago I was using Google Maps and found this picture... I was living there with my mother and twin brother during high school.Β πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦

Growing up on food stamps living in section 8 housing for many years was not fun... I was broker than broke for the first 18 years of my life... 🀐

I can even remember my neighbors being busted for having a huge Meth Lab right next door to us (10 FT Away, WTF LOL)... it even made the local news for a few days.Β

Kinda kool right? NOT?Β

Why am I blogging about this? ...Β

Because In 1998, I found the internet and started to make a few bucks online by selling things while living here. Many of my friends were saying that the internet was a scam and it was useless... Pretty FUNNY RIGHT? LOL

YUP, This is me in 98 in my shack... gridnin on a $200 computer... when I look back at this dude, all I knew that he needed to change his situation and do whatever he had to do to get out of there :) HAHA

Since then, I've been working online for almost 2 decades and been pretty successful... (those stories will be blogged later) πŸ˜„

SO IT'S NOW 2017 and GUESSS WHAT....

I'm seeing the same thing thats happening with STEEMIT and Cryptocurrency! It's an opportunity of a lifetime, the same one I found in 1998 marketing items online that changed my life.Β

STEEMIT is the first to market a cryptocurrency social media platform, Do you even know how big that is? ITS HUGE!Β

There are so many people making thousands of dollars a week grindin 16-18 hours a day right now that never had an opportunity.Β

Unlike before, you needed money to make money, but with this platform... it's 100% free! You just have to put in the work and make no excuses.

So if you are currently living in the ghetto, broke and have no money... the choice is yours if you want to change your life and your situation with STEEMIT.Β

You know how many of us STEEMIANS would love to hear your story? It will Inspire and Motivate us! So just start creating content, document your journey and start blogging!

We are all here to support you... Get out there and make it happen.Β

Let's All Motivate and Inspire the people on STEEMIT πŸ’•

You the man... if I ever see that house again from 20 years ago, I'll burn it down πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Some of the most successful people that I've met in my many years of Networking have come from very humble beginnings. You are one of those inspirations. Keep up the great work!

Charles, this is not a kiss ass response, but sincere. I've always hated motivational speakers and the like. Thought they were con artists. Lately though I'm starting to see that they are right. You are a case in point. I remember when you joined not too long ago and for some reason I followed you. I read many of your posts and started taking things in instead of dismissing them as another motivational guy. Now I've even started doing some things you've suggested and it's really helping me out on Steemit. I'm investing in my account, $20-$40 a week just like you are doing, but on a smaller scale. This has increased my voting power substantially.

Now I get it man. People can show you the way, but you have to make the choice to follow the path or stay bitter, jaded at the world. If you can do it, we all can do it. Thanks dude.

What's up @rt395... yeah just been here for about three weeks, just been grindin it out and making tons of relationships with awesome steemit people. Going slow and having patience is the way to go, I plan to buy more steem power so I can start giving back to my peeps! Thanks for your post, very motivational! 😎

You did it! A true inspiration to everyone around. Thank you for spreading the good news that people can escape difficult situations. We both are perfect examples.

Just seen your post on your wall, you are right... this is just the beginning of steemit, the masss are about to come too steemit, appreciate ya boss πŸ˜ŽπŸ’―

Dam, @stackin, thanks for sharing you are doing great for the short amount of time you have been here. Keep up the amazing work and thanks for giving us a glimpse into your personal life. :)

WOW a @road2wisdom sighting on my blog lol jk ... I see you, you are doing great on Steemit! You are one of my hidden motivators on here haha

Love stories like this - very inspirational. Just so everyone knows how much I believe in SteemIt. I bought ETH at $10 and made a lot off that - I would HODL but I came across a better opportunity. It's STEEM and SteemIt, it's going to change everything. So all my profit from ETH is going to be going into Steem.

Boooom, I'm goi g to be buying more steem in the coming days πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

This post has received a 5.13 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @stackin.

Wow. I didn't know you had it so tough. Thanks for sharing your story, Charles. Very inspirational. And you're right, crypto is going to be huge, and imo much bigger than internet marketing!

I just had to share... Maybe relate to a few people on here that anyone can do it, just don't stop and keep on movin. I also see this the change that many have been looking for, a social media platform based on crypto. We are here at the right time. Thanks @rhino!

Way to go dude! Inspiring story!

Apppreshhh @firepower, maybe it will inspire those are currently in a ruff spot in life πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’―

Certainly! I was in a rough spot not too long ago! Reminded me to keep at it!

It's not where you are, it's where you're going...

Yes sir, the future is always bright πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

It's hard for a lot of people (including us early adopters) to get our heads around this new way of making money. Legitimately.

But I'm excited for this new economic reality which is non-discriminatory and based on abundance rather than scarcity.

Spoken like a true BossLady @Choogirl ... I think we haven't seen anything yet with Steemit, I see so many people WINNING already! :)

This is it: "Unlike before, you needed money to make money, but with this platform... it's 100% free! You just have to put in the work and make no excuses."

The barrier of entry and the excuse of "I don't have the money" are gone.

The only barriers are lack of a computer, and not having an internet connection, but more and more people are being brought online everyday.

One of the things I want to be able to do soon, is donate laptops and tablets to those who don't have computers. I think it would be a great thing to do.

Totally agree! There are no excuses anymore, the only one is the man in the mirror. Have a huge purpose in life and that will drive anyone's motivation. It's up them πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’―

πŸ‘

Amazing lifestory. It is all matter of choices. You can Netflix and chill or can grind. Success comes from grinding, mediocrity from doing things without any purpose. I want the whole story, the way from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas.

That's a long story my friend, don't worry I'll have plenty of time to blog about it πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜€

It's all about motivating yourself, others and making no excuses.

I know you practice all 3.
Great post, lots of respect your way friend and Happy Sunday!⭐️

That's what I'm takin about... thatcan do attitude! You're going to be great on steemit, I just can tell πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Thank you and I wish that for everyone. I too grew up in a rough neighborhood. And i know my son will never have to go through waking up to the sound of the ghetto bird looking for a neighbor at night.

That's awesome! It's just sad to see when people look me up from 20 years ago and they are in the same situation today. You are going to be an awesome mom πŸ’–

It's the comformist mentality that keeps them there.
Thank you, my son is in college working hard towards being a surgeon.
I was a teenage mom hence why I have an adult son and another reason why I knew I had to change my life. I hustled hard, never went on government aid and made sure I gave him a better life than what was out there.

Dude, this is an awesome story. I'm glad I met you here on Steemit. You are an interesting guy for sure. Thanks for sharing. I do have one question. That wu-tang poster in the background. Is that a felt/blacklight poster? If so, I had the same one. lmao... Great post. Keep up the good work and I agree with you about crypto and steemit being the next big thing.

Β 7 years agoΒ (edited)Β

That wutang poster sure do bring back memories... yeah it was felt and glowed with a blacklight, it was popular Back in the 90's πŸ˜‚... it's great meeting people like you boss, keep on stackin 😬😎

that is funny! I had that poster in college dorm room. Great meeting you too!

Yes it is the same change now with steemit/ cryptos like in 1998 with internet marketing. For evrybody who particpates that could be a real live changer.

You the man @theywillkillyou .. hurry up and get back to vegas haha

Great story. Yes we all have stories. This is the place to give out your story. As a matter of fact it is stories that will make our Steem even more valuable in the years to come. I just put out a story this morning. Since I reached my goal. I might as well put out another before the sunsets.

Always on point @david777111 :)

Great Story my friend, sounds a lot like mine. I think we may even be around the same age. Damn you look young for your age, I thought I was doing good but damn you made me look old.

Thank you @healthyrecipe! People always say that I look young, I think its because I didn't have a job for 2 decades with no stress haha

πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Brother, i know the feeling and can match your story. I grew up in the ghetto of orlando florida, sold drugs just to help put food on the family plate. I moved to central Pennsylvanian and put that trash behind me, went to school and got a degree in IT, landed a support tech job at a major software development company and worked my way to team lead in under 2 years. I look back now and i would have been dead or in jail if i would have stayed in that life style. I focus on the crypto markets, it's kind of like selling drugs to me. Buy low and sell high . Best of luck to you and congrats!!

That's what I'm talking about... people taking the bad and making it great. You should blog about it, we would love to hear it πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

That's a great idea. I'm going to start on now!! Thank you!

Hey just found you after I heard @brianphobos mention you in a video as a new steemit user who was really grinding it out and killing it on here. I'm into a lot of the same stuff as you hustling online ecommerce, I do merch, Kindle Publishing, Digital Courses all that jazz. Looking forward to checking out more of your stuff.btw love the pdiddy poster on the wall lol

Thanks @rulesforrebels ... you are beastin it :) ... You have a new follower :)

Awesome message! So often, people use their upbringing as a crutch for not accomplishing much in life. You overcame and created the type of life you wanted. Well done!!

I always say the past is the past and just leave it there, always be moving forward and growing from the past. πŸ’–β€οΈ

Growing up poor can make you really creative.
