What up Steemians, It's been hell of a week for steemit with so many high payouts across the board. It seems to me the top Steemians are posting more often like 4-5 times a day right now. 😳
These Dolphins and Whales are getting upvoted a few hundred dollars for each of their posts, in other words they are probably making at least 10k+ a week because the of the SBD being so high. 💰
What about the rest of us? There are lots of complains across the board saying it's not fair, Quoting "I'm only making a few bucks here and there".
So what does one do? Are you mad and jealous ... or just complain everyday?
You see, I tend to never complain at all... when I see these whales and dolphins making $1000+ in a day (4-5 posts), actually making over $10,000 a week ( $12+ SBD each) included, that stuff freaking inspires me.
Instead of being jealous, mad or wasting my time complaining.... I study the best Steemians and see what they are doing to get so many votes.
There is a secret to there game, you want to know what it is? That there is no secret at all, most of them have been on this platform for a long and build great connection with each other.
Ask yourself this... did you invest in Steemit at all, did you post good content, did you make solid relationships with dolphin and whales, how are you helping people in the community etc... etc...
It takes massive action to get the respect of people on Steemit, believe me I know! I've been on this platform since May 2017 and have yet to get many big votes from these so called Whales... but guess what, I just keep doing me and try to make Steemit the best platform ever!
This post should inspire you all, it takes the same amount of time and energy being negative than just finding ways that you can become a beast on Steemit.
The choice is really ours to make.... So give it a shot, don't get mad or jealous... you should e inspired by these people. So have lots of patience and keep doing your thang, your day will come soon enough.

Totally crazy on the payouts but they deserve it they have either worked very hard to get to that point are invested smartly thus they deserve the rewards
I think some of us would have invested too, but we don't have the cash.
Many have invested their time rather than cash. This is part of what makes steemit so special.

Dolphins making 10k a week? Maybe the big dolphins haha... Even with the SBD boost factored in, I think I'm not even doing a tenth of that... I'm not mad at others success, but super mad at myself... Raaaggeeee - Dolphin - Ragggggeeeee.
Part of it is my following's not huge and art takes such a long time (fewer posts). Gotta mix up my strategy somehow.

The way I see it, is that some authors have always been paid way more than me. The price of SBD doesn't change that.
If something I am truly thankful and glad for the price of SBD, because that will make what I earn myself worth several times more.
That being said, I've seen a couple of some what established Steemians squeezing out 10+ posts per day, and that's just a disgusting behaviour... And that will cost them followers in the long run.
Sure, I wouldn't mind 10K per week... Well, I wouldn't mind an extra 1K per week, because something like that would truly change my entire life right now.
Despite that, I am thankful for each cent I earn, just like I was thankful for each cent I made two weeks ago too.

From many months on steemit , i came to realize being a whale or having a reputation >60 doesn't says a thing about that person. Only a handful whales are good /better at contributing to this community and others are just ... you know ..we are witnessing that

You are correct, it can be inspiring for some.
But for many it is demoralizing.
And the question is,
"is steem a platform where the few get rich, or where everyone can"
It is easy to make money when you have money, new users give up & leave. (per the stats)
So maybe get rid of vote bots, level the playing field, and the platform base will grow. That can only help everyone & esp steem.

Remember everyone started life with no money, same with steemit... everyone started with 0 followers also. So if one can’t figure it out, someone will 😀

You are awesome... always putting things in a positive perspective! By the way, I just won $1200 in Papa-pepper's selfie challenge. It was a 57 day grind but well worth the effort and it paid off when Papa-pepper ended the contest early and split the prize blessing us with SBD. I tripled my account value that day because it was all powered up! It helped me reach my December goal so I could rest... ha ha... got you... reset the bar higher!!

It is absolutely perfect for me, since I have been an unpaid, unpublished artist and writer for years! I learned how to do social media strictly for the lulz and attention... So now I feel ready to sprint, or at least keep a good pace!
We have the choice how to react to any situation. Jealously is a destructive emotion and will not lead to success in any endeavour.

I was thinking about you today, with the price of SBD the way it is I remember when you were buying everytime it dropped, why? Because you believed in the long term vision. THat hasn't changed and for those that want to reap the benefits, they gotta change their perception.

If someone is mad or jealous of other Steemians then that person shouldn't even bother being on Steemit. It isn't a race or a competition.

@stackin Great post! The timing of this much needed inspiration is like hitting the nail on the head. Bottom line is that most of the 'whales' have been around for some time, and creating connections is part of the journey. I do this for the love and the dream chasing. Totally! People put in their time and made their accounts happen and I bet it was a lot of energy to get there and they deserve it! Don't be haters right! It's amazing people can be making so much money doing what they love!

When this happens it just tells me that I need to match their follower count, that's one of the main reasons the whales get so many upvotes. If you look at their stats ( Love how it's so much more reliable than youtube etc. :D ) they've got at least 1000 followers or more.
That's how they keep getting upvoted so often, they've got a loyal following and regular upvoters. It's just a matter of matching that so I don't really hold it against them because that takes quite a bit of work. It seems once you get 1000 followers you're in the money, because if you can get at least 200 of those followers upvoting regularly even if they're not always the same people then you'll keep getting money.
It's a bit frustrating putting work into your posts and barely getting upvotes, but that's just part of how this system works, got to put more thought into how to get people involved and interested.

They help tons of people, remember the whole platform is 96% minnows and there only a few whales 😀
With the current prices, even 50-100 SBDs are a lot compared to some countries' monthly wages. That's just crazy good and would be foolish not to make the best out of it. And certainly possible in a month for anyone.
