Had to add this one. This photo was taken by Czerula Attila, when I was holding tiny Aida right after her haircut, while taking photos of the other dogs :D I couldn't let her out of my hands, that was that ^_^
@Shlomit thank you for sharing your wonderful story! I work in Nepal and Thailand with rescue dogs and elephants and I appreciate how much hard work and dedication goes into the rescue and rehabilitation of animals.
Hats off to you and I wish you and Aida a lifetime of happiness, wags, and woofs!
Thank you very much for your kind words and an even bigger thank you for the wonderful work that you do over there! I would love to read your volunteer stories as well <3
All the best to you and the dogs in this new year!
I start officially working with the Himalayan Animal Rescue Trust on the 3rd January. I am helping them rejig their social media and marketing strategies to get more funds in to help more of Nepal's animals. I teamed up with them in April this year to neuter and vaccinate 183 dogs in the rural village that I live in here! They're just amazing!
Will be writing more about my grassroots conservation work in the New Year, 'tis my resolution! Be sure to follow my feed for updates!
That is incredible <3 <3 <3 and such important work!
I am following and eagerly looking forward to your posts :)
More of Aida's life adventures can be seen on instagram: @prince_miki (she is co-starring on her other rescued brother account :D )
I‘m moved. Thanks for sharing. I‘m into another animal care project with quite another way of fundraising. At work! Keep the Steemit community informed, please.
Wow, thank you for saving so many animals and helping those in need!
Now I love you even more and can't wait to meet you in person! :D
Your stories reminded me a bit about my childhood home; all of the strays which needed some food or a place to rest on their journey, knew to come to our building. I guess somehow they've spread the rummor about us and knew where to go :D My main childhood memories are sitting under the building, feeding the strays, playing with them, giving them blankets and a place to rest. Some also stayed and moved in with us (though we were living in a flat, so we could only have 3 dogs maximum at a time :D ). We moved when I was 18 and to our new building no stray came, I guess they couldn't know our new address and I often wonder if even after all of these years, some strays go to the old building to search for us..

What a heartwarming and sweet story! Aida is a true little princess ! I rescued so many cats and doggies in Bali. It’s such joy to help and I got a million of stories I actually wrote about.
You have a big heart!
I just found one you might like
