I was curious about your cover photo. Is that you surfing and if so, where? Would love to see some posts on surfing. I got to surf in Costa Rica a while back and loved it completely.
It is my pleasure @lukestokes and just doing my part. The forest part is coming along nicely. A piece of land has been identified, 200+ tree seedlings located and ready to go. I am putting together a funding proposal to get this off the ground. We are looking to include a water tower, water tank, drip feed irrigation system, native trees and a few other plants to induce some permaculture. So we are looking to add also vetiver, passion fruit and papaya fruit. This evening I will be planting a few more trees around where I live. I will keep that going until the funding goal has been reached. Once I have all the details and written it out. I will make a blog of vlog about it in the coming week. It is beautiful to see so many people helping out, not only with upvotes and donations, but in other ways too.
As for the surfing part, well that is me surfing the point of Lobitos, Peru a couple of years back. It is the main reason why I stuck it out here, cause there are so many spots around, always offshore and the water is never freezing. If I can I am so going to mix up surfing with upvote a tree project.
Sometimes the point here can handle a bigger wave. This was one of those days.
