Charitable deeds, let's crowd-fund for kids in Bangladesh, fruits and snacks every week, nr. 63

Yesterday I took a swim in the ocean and cleared my head a bit. Today I will be going on an adventure. At the end of October, you will have new travel posts from me, on Gran Canaria. This time I will cover unknown trails that lead into the mountains. Hiking, swimming, all kinds of things. But right now, this following week, it seems you will be fully submerged into the charity posts. I have no camera on m own and my dinosaur of a phone that I do have is not good at photos but soon I will be able to again borrow the phone I usually use for taking the pictures I do for my travel poss.

This week we have a colorful room that was recently decorated. Now there are more fun colors in the classroom space. I read somewhere that it is beneficial for kids to be exposed to bright tones. That it makes your brain more creative and active. Something along these lines. Do you know if it is true? Or is it only positive when infants are involved? Either way, I think that now the kids will like to study more in this space. It looks smashing!

The fruit for this week was pomegranate. I always talk about how I admire whoever peeled and separated all the delicious seeds from the skin. It is a hell of a job and your hands look like you were involved in a bloody murder afterward. All to get these divinely delicious bits of fruit. I can only say it is totally worth it and if you need fake blood for the upcoming Halloween, pomegranate juice is the way to go. It stains like nothing else.

There a lot of Religious Festivals in Bangladesh that take place. People are still very connected with faith in the country. And it has some nice upsides. Like all the holidays. Not the largest Hinduist holiday of the year is at full swing and as I said there are 10 free days from most schools but @SchoolForSDG4 is taking a shorter time off. I am sure coming to such a nice classroom decorated with balloons will be like a mini-festival of its own for the little ones.

Overall, the times at school are exciting and different things happen every day. I think it is amazing that the room got a makeover and now looks like the inside of a jesters closet. It brings life to this space. What are your thoughts for a classroom? Is it better if the walls are bare or colorful like this?
