There is no waiting for luck...

Hoping for change is like wishing for luck. (Cue the stupid political jargon about someone else making your dreams come true for you...) I mean, hoping is better than losing faith, but its always better to just change yourself. The only change you can ever count on is the change that you put into yourself. If you don't change, how will the universe make you? This is a system of free will no? You are free to make a million dollars the legal way, or you could try to be a drug dealer. We are in a system that encourages us to take our lemons and squeeze them suckers until they are dry... Then climb up some trees shake them down. there is no time to wait for the lemon season.

Say you wait, more lemons grow, but there are going to be too many lemons at that time so perhaps you can't even squeeze them all if you wanted to... This is why nature never sits still for too long. Don't work/don't eat. this is how things go... So if you would like to change something, work on changing yourself. Don't wait for a politician, a promise, a ship to come in, don't wait for time, for heaven...

You can be patient, but be patient while you are working your arse off to change yourself. There are not too many people in the world that are truly willing to change. many people get comfortable staying who they are and doing what they do. There is nothing wrong with that. But if you want to change something in your life you always have to change yourself first. You have to sit and weave the basket to gather that fruit for the next season no? With no basket or no flat bad truck, your stuck picking them suckers in the field by hand.

This is where most people sit and wait. They don't build the internal spiritual tools that they need for the future to change and thrive, so they just don't have the tools to harvest the grain when the harvest comes in. Laziness? Maybe? Lack of drive to change? Maybe. Whatever the case, change now or hold your peace..... Not many people will care about how you do in your life in a real sense. So if you are going to make it into something great then the onus is on you to do so...
