Working with what you have - II

Just over a week ago, I shared some of the work I have been doing on a property that I am preparing for short term holiday and weekend rental accommodation.

This is what's happened in the dining area, now with two rugs - a rather pretty kelim and a Persian that belong to the owners, as does all the cutlery and crockery on the table adorned with a table cloth that belonged to my mother, and which I remember from childhood suppers.

Then the lounge area after washing all the soft furnishings and moving some of the bookcases around.

As with the bedrooms, we found all sorts of bits and pieces that we have turned into ornaments.

All photos with my Samsung bridge camera. Collages with Picasa.

Looks like a gorgeous little spot that you're putting together! Interior decorating is not my forte. I'll leave it to those that have a knack for it (like you).

Good luck with this new venture, you're going to love it!

You did a great job! I love decor before/after photos!

wow i love the cozy feeling your decor exudes. Somehow it gives me a Greek home feeling (not that I know how a Greek home typically look like) but all in all, the color scheme is definitely pleasing to the eyes and senses :) @fionasfavourites great job there !

Thank you, much appreciated!

I adore what you have done to the place. Feels very personal with the additional ornaments. Those who would be renting it would love it.

I hope so. Our first guests have already booked - via Airbnb for the first weekend in June.

Omg, this decoration looks awesome!
