This is a feature that I've really been wanting to see on Steemit - the ability to write a post and then schedule a time for it to be posted/go live. I do a lot of writing away from Steemit and then have to copy the text and source the images/multimedia into the post when I get the chance to get back on the platform.
It would be great if I could spend, say, Sunday afternoon creating multiple posts and then schedule them to be posted on a set date and time. Or say I know a friend's birthday is coming up, I could dedicate something to them and then have it post on their birthday. Same for holidays, celebrations, and other milestone dates.
There are a bunch of options if this can be done - maybe start with allowing up to four posts to be scheduled per day for the next 48 hours, or allow 10 posts to be scheduled for a week. Others can chime in below on what they'd like to see, but even if we could have the ability to schedule one post ahead of time, it would be super helpful - particularly for those of us who are not on during peak hours.

Since most Steem applications don't have a backend that processes information, post scheduling is a challenge. There is no ability in the blockchain to set your post time in the future (which would be the easiest method to accomplish this). So in order to pull this off, your computer would have to be idling on the page when you wanted the post to happen.
I agree though, it'd be a great feature, I'm just not sure how to implement it effectively without giving you an application to download and run on your computer (which would take a long time to build).
@jesta @chainbb: I was looking for this feature myself just now. Sad about that but maybe it's a blessing. Post scheduling will encourage activity that may cause traffic to spike at certain times in a 24 hour cycle. If post scheduling remains off the table then we might see a more even rate of uploads spread out across the 24 hour cycle.
Don't know if I'm making sense. But yeah...
