Hola amigos de Hive, Hi Hive friends
Este fin de semana además de con amigos, como habéis podido ver en el post anterior, estuvimos disfrutando de nuestra casa.
This weekend, as well as with friends, as you have seen in the previous post, we were enjoying our house.
Aprovechamos que estábamos disfrutando también de nuestra casa, sofá, manta y película para hacer churros.
¿Y qué son los churros? es una masa de harina que se fríe en aceite muy caliente y no sólo son populares en España, si no también he leído que en Latinoamérica, Francia, Bélgica, Portugal...
We took advantage of the fact that we were also enjoying our house, sofa, blanket and film to make churros.
And what are churros? It is a flour dough that is fried in very hot oil and they are not only popular in Spain, but I have also read that in Latin America, France, Belgium, Portugal ...
¿Quieres hacerlos? coge un bol, harina, agua y sal. Mezcla todo hasta que te salga una masa espesita.
¡Cuidado! ni muy espesa ni muy líquida. El truco está en que cuando vas a echarla a la sartén se deslice sin llegar a ser demasiado líquida.
Do you want to do them? Take a bowl, flour, water and salt. Mix everything until you get a thick dough.
Watch out! neither too thick nor too runny. The trick is that when you go to add it to the pan it slides without becoming too runny.
El complemento perfecto es una bebida bien calentita. Nosotros acompañamos los churros con café o un cola-cao.
The perfect complement is a very warm drink. We accompany the churros with coffee or a cola-cao.
Tuvimos una avería en nuestra comunidad y hemos estado unos días sin agua. Imaginaros el caos que es no disponer de agua en casa para poder realizar las tareas domésticas, ducharte, hacer de comer... menos mal que ya está solucionado. We had a breakdown in our community and we have been without water for a few days. Imagine the chaos of not having water at home to be able to do housework, shower, eat ... thank goodness that it has already been solved.
Hemos estado en casa de familiares hasta que por fin lo consiguieron arreglar. Aprovechamos para estar tiempo con ellos jugando a juegos de mesa, algo que no hacíamos desde hacía mucho. Reímos y disfrutamos un montón.
We have been with relatives until they finally got it fixed. We took the opportunity to spend time with them playing board games, something we hadn't done for a long time. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves a lot.
