Son plantas que almacenan agua de manera distinta a como lo hace un cactus. Su nombre significa "jugosas", y se le encuentra en climas fríos y sitios de gran altitud. Ideales para adornar, son hermosas y hay muchas especies.
Estas me las encontré visitando una amiga y me enamore de ellas. Según el Feng Shui son consideradas como guardianes protectores , purifican el ambiente y generan armonía.
Las suculentas almacenan agua en sus tallos hojas y tronco, y son las plantas que mas almacenan agua del reino vegetal.
