Researchers from the University of Lund, in Sweden, have presented the fastest camera in the world, capable of capturing 5 trillion frames per second.
That's enough to make the camera able to photograph the light. You can see it in action below.
The camera uses an algorithm that can capture many images encoded in one, and then order them in a video sequence.
The procedure consists in exposing an object with brief laser flashes, where at each pulse of light a unique code was given. The object that is being portrayed reflects the flashes so that they merge into a single photograph, so that in the end you can separate the images using an encryption key.
This type of technology was named by scientists as FRAME (Frequency Recognition Algorithm for Multiple Exposures).

5 fps is that 5 frames per second, not 5 trillion frames per second how you want to imply.
