En lo que en su momento fuese una estación de tranvías, una fábrica de ómnibus y posteriormente, ya para la década de los 90, una fábrica de bicicletas, se encuentra hoy la sede de la Feria Nacional de Artesanía. El proyecto, conocido como "Estación Cultural de línea y 18", de visibles paredes de ladrillo, se enfoca reutilizar dicha edificación, que se encontraba inhabilitada desde 2002 causa de un incendio, y pretende recrear el estilo original de cuando fue inaugurada en el año 1907.

In what was once a tram station, a bus factory and later, in the 1990s, a bicycle factory, is today the headquarters of the National Handicraft Fair. The project, known as "Line 18 Cultural Station", with visible brick walls, focuses on reusing said building, which was disabled since 2002 due to a fire, and aims to recreate the original style of when it was inaugurated in the year 1907.

Los amplios ventanales y el techo traslúcido, que le ofrece al inmueble iluminación y ventilación natural permite el ahorro de energía eléctrica, convirtiendo el centro en un lugar un poco más amigable con el medio ambiente.

The large windows and the translucent ceiling, which offers the property natural lighting and ventilation, allows saving electricity, making the center a little more environmentally friendly.

La feria, que tiene lugar cada año, trae múltiples artículos estrechamente vinculados a la cultura de la nación: vestimentas de hilo y guayaberas, la camisa cubana por excelencia, muebles de madera preciosa y semipreciosa como la caoba, creados por ebanistas de experiencia, joyería, calzado y artículos para el hogar, hechos a mano por magníficos orfebres y artesanos que nos da la posibilidad de darle un toque único y distintivo a nuestras viviendas o a nuestra figura.

The fair that takes place every year, brings multiple items closely linked to the culture of the nation: yarn clothing and guayaberas, the quintessential Cuban shirt, precious and semi-precious wood furniture such as mahogany, created by experienced cabinetmakers, jewelry, footwear and household items, made by hand by magnificent silversmiths and artisans that gives us the possibility of giving a unique and distinctive touch to our homes or our figure.
