Regardless of your opinions on the gun control debate, I think we can all agree that the police involved in the Uvalde shooting were ultimately cowards and do not deserve much respect. Hell, even if you're a staunch police supporter, even you can admit it too.
Even though the media is trying to divide the public on the gun issue, the key problem is that people are ignoring the things that bring the public together. The public was brought together in this event, sure to debate about guns and have that typical anti-gun vs pro-gun squabble, but even more so to accept the fact that the police are not as valuable as some may claim them to be. Don't get me wrong, I believe law enforcement is essential, but a cowardly police force is not.
Sure, I definitely support guns, but even I can see that some people, who are anti-gun, realize that the current police force isn't exactly an effective part of our society. If they want to think of other solutions to solve the "gun crime" problem, then fine, but relying on the police only having guns is clearly a STUPID idea. Uvalde proves that we cannot always only put our faith and trust in the hands of armed police forces.
