RE: The bleak life of a social media moderator, and a few thoughts on censorship

I've heard about how horrible that job can be. Some people seem to expose their worst aspect on-line as they can be anonymous there. Automating the curation is a big challenge and we will need humans for a long while yet. I do have concerns that more of that bad stuff will come to Steem. I don't see much that offends me here, but I am choosy about who I follow.

I think it's inevitable that it will come.

When it does it could be a challenge to mass adoption, most people would rather bury their heads in the sand about it!

You'd like to think that it's behaviour that would lesson as people mature having grown up with social media, and see it as little different from face to face interaction, maybe, hopefully?!?
