RE: Censorship on Centralized Platforms

Hey, @gniksivart.

I like how you've described how it works on STEEM. I've not been a proponent of flags, especially ones that seem to come indiscriminately, but as you say, if you look hard enough, you can find it. And grayed out posts or comments actually tend to draw attention more—they at least do to me. It's not so much a forbidden thing as it is, "What did they do that was so bad?" only to find out that in many cases (certainly not all—plenty are deserved) that some past abuse has them still in the doghouse, or they're being targeted because one big user doesn't like what they're saying, or they're caught in the crossfire.

However, as you say, that's pretty different than having the comment completely and totally removed.

re: Bitcoin forum

It's to bad they have gatekeepers (though they have a few uses), but I wonder just how much of your comment was off topic, and how much was giving him some place other than PIVX to go to, like STEEM. Is PIVX based on Bitcoin somehow? Uses it's codebase or something?

Anyway, hopefully they managed to read it before it was deleted. If not, maybe there's another way. :)
