Building Structures with Lego
Hello friends, today is Wednesday of structures so I want to talk about something that I liked and played with them as a child and in my adulthood I was surprised by the capacity and imagination of some people to really make incredible structure. ; Particularly I thought that you simply couldn´t do things as elaborate and real as this. But let me show you 4 of the best structures ever built with LEGO BRICKS.
1.- Colosseum
This massive 200,000-piece Lego Roman Colosseum, made to minifig scale. Built for the University of Sydney, it shows both the Colosseum from two thousand years ago and its current state.
This colosseum was made by certified Lego builder Ryan McNaught. The level of detail reach in this model its stunning, where You can see the spectators, some Roman soldiers, merchants and beasts.
2.- Lego Ness Monster.
In Downtown Disney, Marketplace, Lake Bueno Vista, Florida you can find the lego ness monster made of 170,000 Lego bricks and stands over 30 feet tall.
3.- Lightning McQueen, Cars.
This Lightning McQueen model made entirely out of 250.000 LEGO bricks, measuring 12 feet long and over 6 feet at its widest point was maded by LEGO master Erik Varszegi.
4.- XC90 VOLVO LEGO
In order to promote driving safety and family values Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) and Legoland® California joined forces and built in 2004 the first Volvo XC90 with 2000.000 lego bricks
So I guess it’s like Will Ferrell says in the Lego movie… “Lego it’s not a toy; it’s a highly sophisticated interlocking brick system”
