LAGOS IBADAN RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION

Today beening Wednesday the theme for the daily celestial challenge is structure @sirknight this is my entry to today's celestial challenge
The federal government commence the construction of a the three light rail lines as announced earlier on the news
The federal government awarded the project to the civil engineering construction cooperation (CECC) at the cost of $1.5billion about (#458 billion)

minister of transportation Chibuike Amachi ,Oba of Lagos rilwan Akinolu ,All progress Congress (APC) chairman John Odigie -Oyegun, Deputy chairman Segun oni ,Senate Gbenga Ashafa and olusola Adeyeye ,Aminu Isa,Among others witness the event
The federal government through the ministry of transportation had studied on 13new routes to connect state capitals
Osanbajo said the project would create jobs stimulate expand agro Allied industries and promote economy activities
Minister Amachi explained that the project involved the construction of ancillary facilities Among which is the construction of eight railway station along the corridor at a Apapa ,Ebute mette with intermediate station at Agege ,Kojala papalon,Abeokuta,Omi-adio a passing station at olodo while the Ibadan station
With technical operation this train service in the near future will be extended from Ibadan to ilorin,Minna ,Kaduna and Kano and link to the federal capital via Kaduna
presently they are still constructing the gutters beside the rail along odewale itoki road they constructed the gutter bricks in such a way that one is higher than the other in case of rain fall so water won't flow out of the gutter . They had already leveled the road beside the rail with sand and they plan to turn it to a express road
This project will bring a positive change to the economy of the people and traders will also benefit in the development
