What if instead of saying that love does not exist, you start to love?
Loving is wanting the other person to feel good, be happy. I think it's the only way to say that you love. There is no need to destroy the happiness of the other so that we are happy.
Our garden can flourish and be nice, even if the neighbor's garden is too.
The more you love one, the less time you have left to hate.
Love does not expect recompense
Sometimes we hear these ugly words:
¡I do not help anyone else! Let each one be damaged!
¡Until today I only did good to others and nobody ever helped me! no more!
¡When I need, nobody helps me. From now on I do not want to know anything!
¿What to say in front of these and other ventures?
You have certainly heard a lot of that out there: people who rebelled for doing good and not receiving a reward, or even exaggerating what they do for others.
Many times there are reasons for that, with everything if one did good, helping someone only to receive some pay, rewards or with ulterior motives, ¿what value would it have?
Ingratitude exists, it is not denied. I think that when you love you can not use measures, limits, conditions ...
Love is not confused with selfishness - or at least it should not - because when you love you do not expect reward, you
have no other interest than making someone happy. Beyond that is selfishness clothed in the mask of love.
It does not hurt that they do not give back, keep loving.
Maybe this Heber Lima trovita means more:
"I give back with goodness all the evil that you did to me, because I feel happiness in giving you what you did not give me"
