celestialchallenge - Thursday Forcesinnature - My Wife

My wife is one of the strongest forces of nature I know and trust me I know. I've lived through Hurricane Rita and that was no joke. If you don't believe me check out the following information.

Power was not restored in some areas across the region for weeks to even months. Cities in the "Golden Triangle" formed by Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange, TX sustained extensive wind damage, whether directly from wind, or collaterally from wind-fallen trees, tree branches and/or other detritus.

The "Golden Triangle" was where I was born and raised and can confirm we spent a week in Oklahoma, a week in Houston with friends once they finally regained power, and at least 2 or 3 weeks in a hotel until we could get back to our house where we spent 2 or 3 days without power.

Hurricane Rita

When my wife puts her mind to something you better get on board or get out of the way. My incredible wife lost over 80 lbs after her first pregnancy and started a semi-successful beach body business, recently remodeled an entire kitchen in a couple of weeks with pretty much her and her dad, and designed our house and remodeled pretty much every room of the house we live in. The destruction below pales in comparison to anyone who stands in her way.

Hurricane Harvey

A chalk drawing/poster she made for our sons 1 year birthday last year. I have to admit my son loves all those things except for pizza. He doesn't like anything with stringy cheese on it now as I think it causes him to choke.

There were many late nights leading up to my sons 1st birthday and sleepless nights for my wife. I promised myself that I would never make a big fuss for a kids birthday that they would never remember. This is the first promised I lied to myself about after getting married / meeting my wife.

Meal prepping so she'd have no excuses not to eat healthy and you know whatever she ate I had to eat as well.

We got engaged and then married in less than 2 months and this is the beautiful wedding my wife was able to put together in this short amount of time. A last minute cancellation allowed us to get the venue at a reasonable price, but everything else you see in the picture was found, bought, and set-up by my wife and a friend or two. It was beautiful.

Our dining room for Thanksgiving last weekend. Needless to say it looks this good if not better the past two years for Thanksgiving and is always a good time.

I love my wife to the moon and back. We're able to accomplish so much together and when she puts her mind to it mountains don't even stand in her way. She's the most powerful force in nature that I've ever met and the worst hurricane, tornado, and earthquake combined looks like a baby compared to my wife.

I've got a wife like that too...

It's awesome that your wife has such a great will and determination. The world could use more people like that.

Blessings to your wife, son and you for the great post and story! I can tell you cherish your wifely force of nature immeasurably!💯❤👍

Thank you!
