Hello people!! Its yet another day of #celestialchallenge which was initiated by @sirknight.
Today's theme is Light.
Light is very broad. So i will post on three perspective.
Firstly, What is Light.
Light can be considered as an agent that stimulates sight. It can also make things visible. Light could also be referred to as brightness , radiance , luminosity, illumination.
The first perspective i will be looking at light is from the wave perspective.
Light is a transverse wave. Its direction of disturbance is perpendicular to its direction of travel.
Light also has energy and it travel so fast. The speed of light in a vacuum is about 186 ,282 miles per seconds (299 ,792 kilometer per seconds)
If one could travel at the speed of light, one should be able to go around the earth about 7.5 times a second.
Amazing!!
Another perspective is its power.
An atom of light in a place gives that place beauty, no matter how dim or small the light source may seem.
Beautiful!!
The last perspective is the light referred to in the Bible.
The gospel of John says that Jesus is the true light. Anyone who has Jesus, has the light of God. Halleluyah!!
Also in Matt 5:13-16.
It was mentioned there that we are the light of the world. So we have the power to light up the world.
So in conclusion , Light is a very strong agent and very important.
Keep lighted steemians!!.
