Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness.” Some of us grew up playing with tractors, the lucky ones still do. Agriculture is not crop production as popular belief holds - it's the production of food and fiber from the world's land and waters. Without agriculture it is not possible to have a city, stock market, banks, university, church or army. Agriculture is the foundation of civilization and any stable economy.Agriculture not only gives riches to a nation, but the only riches she can call her own. There's almost no food that isn't genetically modified. Genetic modification is the basis of all evolution. Things change because our planet is subjected to a lot of radiation, which causes DNA damage, which gets repaired, but results in mutations, which create a ready mixture of plants that people can choose from to improve agriculture. Agriculture is now a motorized food industry, the same thing in its essence as the production of corpses in the gas chambers and the extermination camps, the same thing as blockades and the reduction of countries to famine, the same thing as the manufacture of hydrogen bombs.

Just as the science and art of agriculture depend upon chemistry and botany, so the art of education depends upon physiology and psychology. Agriculture was the first occupation of man, and as it embraces the whole earth, it is the foundation of all other industries.

Agriculture is the greatest and fundamentally the most important of our industries. The cities are but the branches of the tree of national life, the roots of which go deeply into the land. We all flourish or decline with the farmer.

This is all because of farmers if we eat today thanks to the farmers.
