Cats aren't pack animals as dogs are, they are solitary by nature although they can live together in colonies. Some cats bond with each other and others agree to disagree. In general, 2 cats will live together pretty harmoniously unless one takes a dislike to the other but multicat households are often a recipe for disaster. I have 6 cats, not by choice but because I have ended up with various strays and some of my family's unwanted cats.
Relationships are often strained, but we manage to avoid constant conflict by making sure that there are enough resources: food bowls, water sources, beds, and access to outdoors. Normally, the rule of thumb is that there should be as many litterboxes as there are cats, plus one more. I don't do this because many of my cats prefer to toilet outside and never use the box. I keep one box, for the odd cat who doesn't feel like going outside at the time.
I keep 2 cat beds on my work desk because I find that there are four cats that take it in turns to sleep on my desk as I type. Ms P in particular has a preference for the left side and despite her feral don't-touch-me ways is the one who regularly comes to sleep there as I am working. This is her "why are you pointing that thing at me again?" look.
Yoda likes to let it all hang out, sometimes he sprawls right out of the bed and all over the keyboard and has to be rearranged.
Last night, Katia was sleeping in Ms P's customary spot and Ms P jumped up to hop into "her" bed. I was amazed at the speed at which Katia woke up and bit Ms P, taking out a mouthful of fur. This is her don't mess with me face afterwards.
I think I'm going to need a larger desk....

Cats and their sleeping habits! Maybe we have been uncommonly lucky, but we've generally had peaceful relations in our multi-cat household. At most, we were up to five, and sometimes they could all be found sleeping in a "cat lump" on a bed or a couch. And the were not siblings... but ranged in age from "large kitten" to 10+ years old.

Katia is an extremely feisty little cat. She was also born feral but has no fear of humans and does her own thing
6 cats is more than I could handle. You are a good catlady. Our 2 have their moments together, but it is rare. My Calico is the best watch cat ever. She can really let out a yeowl when she spots something approaching her territory. Hope you are well. 🐓🐓
