I had used my husband’s old phone to get photos on Larry’s birthday and forgotten I had. I seldom use it for that. So this is early morning birthday pats.

Then later he was lying on the floor waiting for the sun to get to him.

At one point, he claimed my chair, but not for long!

Wednesday morning was clear, very cold, and sunny. I got my post up and dishes into the dishwasher. Then I was off to exercise class. It so was so cold and windy walking into the town hall for class!

I have a lot of house plants that have lived in water for years. This Christmas cactus is one. I’ve never had one flower in water before.

I also found new buds on the big geranium in the living room.

We stopped for me to check the mail on the way back from exercise class. I found a package with new-to-me books.

It was written by Tasha Tudor’s daughter and illustrated by Tasha Tudor. I’d tried to get an older copy before Christmas but the order was cancelled by the seller. So I tried again later and found this, a much newer copy.

Someone had to help me read it. The next one I read for the rest of the day was Dreamland by Nicholas Sparks. I finished that and started The Wish in the evening.

Thursday is supposed to be cloudy and cold. I hope to work on the estate stuff in the morning and my helper friend comes at noon. We need to water house plants and I hope to set up the treadmill. Then maybe, we will start the kitchen island, or maybe we will bring the boxes for packing away Christmas down. We’ll see…
