I was going through some old photographs the other day and found a photo of my cat whose name was Munchies. Munchies was not only a very pretty cat but she was a very nice cat as well. She loved to stretch out and have her tummy rubbed and not all cats like that or after a while they will let you know that they've had enough. Not Munchies though, she would lay there and enjoy it until you got tired. She also had the loudest purring that I have ever heard out of a cat. That is, actually, one of my last memories of Munchies is that purring. We had Munchies for probably close to eighteen years which is a lot in cat years. Munchies had a tumor on the inside of her mouth that we didn't know about until it was too late. It had burst and we had to take her to the vet. They confirmed that it was a tumor and we had to have her "put to sleep". My family stayed with her the entire time and Munchies loudly purred till her very last breath. It was a very sad moment for our entire family and one we will remember forever. I look forward to seeing Munchies again someday!!
Awwww, that's a sad story. It's hard to put down part of your family. My bestest friend had to be be put down cuz of leukemia. She was a sweetie cat that I taught to roll over on demand the word was... milk hehe
Thanks @johnnycopper1! This was the photo I was looking for to show you a while back. Munchies was one of the best cats I've ever had but I probably say and mean that about all of them. I'm sorry about your cat too, its a hard thing to have to do. That wasn't Fluffy was it?
Nope, Oero, a black and white cat that did tricks on demand. Priceless hehe
Oh okay! She sounds like she was a pretty cool cat! She must've thought the world of you too! It is cute that her word was milk and I can just picture that in my mind! Give Fluffy a pet for me!! ❤

Thanks so much @pixresteemer!!
I love kitties. Such a sad time when we have to send our fur babies on ahead of us.
Thank you @warpedweaver! It is and I do believe I'll see all my fur babies again one day!
It makes me smile and cry all at the same time to think of the menagery of critters that have been my friends over this lifetime, and the thought of seeing them all again. What a day that will be! :)
I agree and was thinking about that just the other day! I was thinking about a guinea pig I had years ago that I loved dearly! Most animals are better souls than some people so it will be great to see them again!
I totally agree. :)
Iv'e had to put down to many faithful cats, before a long life. Very, very heart breaking.
Thanks Mike! It is a hard thing to have to do and we were lucky to have her for so long. It really is just as hard be it young or old. She was an awesome cat!
Munchies looks gorgeous, sorry she has gone :(
Thank you @roborton!! She was gorgeous and a disposition that was very sweet!
She was a very beautiful cat and sounds like she was awesome. I lost a a cat the same way and it be very heart breaking.
Thank you @toddcurry and I'm sorry for you loss also!!
Alas!!!!!!
Thank you @tali72!!
RIP, Munchies! That's a darn shame about the tumor in her mouth, of all places @deerjay the way she enjoyed eating. I'm glad you were with her at the end. You know how I feel about our old fur babies. They truly are better than many people❤
Thanks Nina and I agree wholeheartedly on that last statement!! It never gets any easier but always thankful to have my fur babies in my life!!
Have a great week!💚💛💜
You too!! 😊
So sorry about munchies. What a pretty kitty
Thank you @eastcoaststeem!! She sure was a pretty one and she had a great disposition too! I think she was possible the nicest cat I've ever known..personally!
What a beauty and a wonderful story of love. It takes a lot of courage and love to sit with another through their transition. 🙏🏼💜
Thanks @innerstellar! It sure doesn't get any easier but all part of life and glad we had so much time with her! ❤
Your kitty is beautful & I'm sure you must miss her. Sorry for your loss ♡
Thank you @chelsea88!! I do but I know Ill see her again someday!
Quite a lovely cat I think, and obviously a well loved pet as well. It's always sad when they go, but also nice to remember the fond memories and good times enjoyed.

So true and thank you @c0ff33a!! I've had a lot of cats but never one that purred so loudly as Munchies and to be going through what she went through and still purr was something I've never experienced before.
Sorry about Munchie. Eighteen years is quite the age for most cats. I had a calico one, called Angel, who lived sixteen years. They certainly leave a void in the home when they pass.
Thank you @redheadpei! She was probably the oldest cat I've ever had then Fuzz which was seventeen and she just recently passed. I'm grateful to have had so many years. I think I've almost always had a cat in my life and all of them were great pets and companions!
Munchies was adorable and I love her name! i'm sorry she is gone though. ((Hugs))
Thank you Deb! I know I had more photos but I haven't been able to find them which makes me think they were on film roll and I never got them developed. I found some and plan on sending them off to see what comes out of them. ❤
That is unusual for a cat to like having their belly rubbed. Sounds like you had a long and wonderful life with Munchies and I know how much you miss her. It is always so hard to lose our furry members of the family.
Thank you @whatisnew! She was special! The only cat I've ever had that loved belly rubs for as long as you would keep doing it! Some of mine might let me pet them a few times but then they let me know that is enough!
