My kitty "Dax" has a thing for flowing water. She simply refuses to drink from her water bowl and instead drives me nuts every time I turn on a faucet in the house. Any faucet.
She crawls in the bathroom sink and waits....She stands on the edge of the bathtub staring at the handle...she sits on the edge of the kitchen sink. There are times when I wish she would just turn the faucet on by herself, especially since I truly believe that she knows exactly how to do it.
Apparently there is a strong evolutionary advantage to this behavior, including lowered risk of waterborne diseases. Some say the cooler temperate of tap water is attractive, others say it's about not having to bump whisker on the side of the bowl.
Either way, it's a hilarious photo opportunity!
Happy #Caturday, everyone!
Beautiful cat
I think this cat has a sharp instinct from the way he sees this cat is very fast and sharp in catching prey
@zulfahmii
Nice picture👍👍👍
We finally splurged and picked up a cat water fountain for our 3 and they love it. A friend picked up a fish tank filter and pump setup and made their own which they wash every week and that keeps their cats off the counter. Love the photo!
I think I need to get one of those, @jamethiel!
hee hee what does Dax do if he wants to drink while there is no one at home?
I leave the water bowl out, but I think she may be drinking from the toilet.
My love for pet is much. Lovely post

Mine too @crystalize! We have to put a guard on our faucet when go to sleep or we wake up to it running full force. lol!
OMG I think I had better stop wishing that she would turn the water on by herself!
lol! Yes, you better stop wishing for that. We had an awful water bill one month.
Dax is Super cute😸
Thank you!
I'm a fan of cats) Thanks for the post)

Unlike other cats, lions have a tuft of hair at the end of their tails.
